Maple wood is incredibly strong, straight grained, and stains nicely. Its a light weight, creamy color, smooth fine textured subtle grain pattern, and has impressive durability. Medium level of anti-bacterial resistance properties.

Oak wood is exceedingly strong, heavy and durable. It is an attractive reddish color with a prominent grain and is resistant to fungal attack, thanks to its dense constitution and long-living nature. High level of anti-bacterial resistance properties.

Poplar is a hardwood, sometimes with stripes; the heartwood is usually tan, but can range from greenish brown to dark green, purple, black, blue and yellow. The wood is straight grained, uniform in texture and moderate to light weight.
